Giorgio Armani has teamed up with VideofyMe to launch the second phase of their Frames of Life eyewear campaign. The brand has developed its own #Framesofyou colour filter that has been designed to recreate the atmosphere of the Frames of Life campaign and engage customers with the brand. In this innovative digital campaign customers are encouraged to create short videos of themselves or their friends wearing their favourites sunglasses using the frame of you filter. They can then share it using the #frameofyou hashtag on social media.
Like in the Burberry kisses campaign that I had covered last month this campaign engage the customers and bring them to the status of brand ambassadors. Indeed every week the top three videos are featured on the Armani Frames of Life website as well as their social media channels. And the results are impressively good. The filter is nice and classy and the ability to add music to the videos has allowed for users to create really cool videos.

After researching for this blog post I feel like creating my own video. After all it seems pretty easy. On the top of that I have never used VideofyMe and it seems to be a pretty cool application. You can either use the desktop version or the app that is free to download and is available on iphones. (that’s all good for the mac user that I am). While I haven’t heard a lot about VideofyMe it is Scandinavia’s leading social video app with over 750,000 users and almost 450,000 videos being uploaded each month. As a social media fanatic I have to try this for sure. My #Framesofyou video might then be coming soon and if I do I will make sure to share it here!
